In a quiet, peaceful forest, there lived two birds—Maria, a small but determined sparrow, and Zack, a strong and confident eagle. Both had the same goal: to reach the highest point in the forest, known as the Summit of Success. It was a place that very few birds had reached because the journey was long and difficult.
Maria, though small, believed in her ability to reach the top. She knew that even though she wasn’t as fast or strong as other birds, she had the determination to keep going no matter how hard it got. Every day, she practiced flying a little higher, improving slowly but surely.
Zack, the eagle, was naturally powerful and could fly high with ease. Confident in his abilities, he thought that reaching the summit would be simple for him. He didn’t practice much, believing his strength would be enough to get him there.
One day, both birds decided to start their journey to the Summit of Success. Zack took off quickly, flying high and fast, leaving Maria far behind. Maria, on the other hand, flew at a steady pace, not rushing but always moving forward. As the journey got tougher, Zack became tired and decided to rest, thinking he could easily continue later. But after resting for too long, he lost focus and stopped making progress.
Meanwhile, Maria faced many challenges—strong winds, rain, and moments of doubt. But she kept flying, never losing sight of her goal. Despite the difficulties, she kept pushing forward, one step at a time. After many days of hard work, Maria finally reached the Summit of Success. She realized that it wasn’t her size or speed that brought her to the top, but her persistence and ability to keep going, even when the journey was hard.
Zack, still far below, saw Maria at the summit and understood his mistake. He realized that success requires more than natural talent. It takes hard work, focus, and the willingness to overcome obstacles. From then on, Zack decided to work harder and learn from Maria’s example.
Lesson
Success is not about how talented or strong you are, but how determined and persistent you can be. Just like Maria, anyone can reach their goals if they work hard and stay focused, no matter the challenges.
